Abstract

Students learn at higher education (HE) institutions both formally and informally, or at least this is what they are supposed to be doing. On the one hand, their learning can be seen as a result documented by exams and certificates, and on the other, as a process, which is much more difficult to understand. This chapter explores and identifies HE students’ learning experiences and opportunities by means of qualitative methodology. Moreover, as learning processes are parts of student’s biographies, this chapter focuses on researching students’ learning biographies.
