The people who are the focus of this body of research are noteworthy individuals who gained distinction within various publishing cultures. As a result, a wide range of autobiographical and biographical attention has been devoted to learning how they lived, worked and shaped the field. From their experiences may come unique perspectives on the medium and insights for new generations of professionals.
