Abstract

The questions that this chapter raises are relatively intuitive. They deserve answers nonetheless because doing so helps to accomplish two goals. First is to relate carbon intensity to climate change and therefore to its human rights impacts. Second is to show how divesting from carbon-intensive businesses could reduce carbon emissions and therefore improve human rights conditions.
