The flexible/stretchable supercapacitors have become more popular as wearable devices become more common because of important properties of immediate application, safety, smaller volume, a wide-ranging temperature, and excellent mechanical robustness. Researchers have spent more time promoting several metal oxides (MOs) in supercapacitor applications. Distinctive metal-oxide characteristics, such as ideal capacitive efficiency, inexpensiveness, and eco-friendliness, are their choice. Pseudo-capacitance properties play a crucial role in the charge storage mechanism. The current chapter showcases the importance of metal oxides and their advancement in the fabrication of flexible supercapacitors. It also explores many relevant scientific issues serving as principles for the potential production of versatile metal oxide-based flexible supercapacitors. It possibly will be helpful to solve a major aspect of the energy issue.
